  • Black Porsche Makeover

This 98 Porsche was completely covered in swirls.

Owner did not know the correct steps in washing, drying, or waxing cars.

    1. Washed with Meg's wash
    2. Dried with water blade + absorber
    3. Skipped clay (didn't need it as the finish itself was smooth)
    4. DACP with 8006 (approx. 2.5 hours to remove swirls)
    5. NXT with 9006 pad + buff with mf towel
    6. Final buff with Meg's mf bonnet

I could have spent a few more hours fine detailing, but time was limited for this customer.

      Happy Owner Reflection

Here's a pic of the obvious happy 911 owner when I finished the NXT.

DACP + NXT is a great combo

The comparison between the beginning paint and the ending results of DACP + NXT are really remarkable.

Thanks Mike and the Meguiar's staff for the tips, products, and assistance.

You've got to love how NXT looks on a black car! Great job!

Thanks Pendragon: the toughie I found when detailing a 911 Porsche is the entire car has lots of curves. Using the pc involves a lot of different directions to remove the swirls. I probably spent twice as long with this car as a standard vehicle.
