Going above speed 5 is very tough on pads. Also, in my limited experience, higher speeds give you much less time to "work in" the product.

It is strictly MY method, but I never use my DA BELOW speed 6. I've never experienced velcro delamination. Some pads are sensitive to this, but the brands I use are not. BTW, what do you mean by "higher speeds give you much less time to work in the product"?
Arm speeds/pad pressures are the same and if you use a product that has long workability, it is simply not an issue. Additionally, the defect correction is a bit faster, so the overall time frame is still healthy.

Kevin, I'm so envious of that car! Here in Hungary, they are basically extinct. Why didn't you set up an email or PM-accessibility?

Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
          Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
          Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

I didn't? Let me correct that.

Edit: I fixed it. None of the other forums I'm a member on even give you the option. PM and email away. Just don't spam me..LOL

On this forum you guys probalby don't like this answer. But lubricant will never come anywhere near my tires if I can help it. This particular car doesn't have sticky tires and coilovers *yet*, but I'm in a habbit of keeping greasy stuff far from the rubber. I auto-xed a lot in my other car.

If you want to give the tires a rich, matte black look, try some M40 Rubber & Vinyl Cleaner & Conditioner, it's water-based, won't turn sticky or greasy in any way, shape or form. It's been around for over 25 years and once people discover it they really tend to like it.
