  • 1989 Daihatsu Cuore (red)

Because my cousin graduated a few months ago for her Business School, I promised her to detail her car

After I rinsed the vehicle, I've washed the car with NXT Shampoo. You can clearly see the dull paintwork. Here I've done a quarter of the roof with #83 DACP.

Look at my pad after one pass (Single stage red)

It's all, very, very dull. Even the rearlights.

Here I've tried a lot of passes on the roof. I always use the bootlid to try somethings out, but in this case it didn't matter

Bird droppings are another big problem. I love to do some wetsanding on those spots.

After buffing, I've waxed the car with NXT wax. While I was drinking a Coke, my cousin and her friend came. It's time for them to wipe it off

Because I didn't had PlastX, I've done the rearlights with the rotarybuffer on the highest rpm :P

Now it the time to clean the windows.

    Very clear the windows

    12 inches with glossy tires

She did the interior, and I did the exterior trim and tires with Trim Detailer and some Hot Tire Shine.

The final wipe-down with Quik Detailer:

It was great fun to do a valueless car. My cousin and her friend were very excited with her new car. That's priceless ofcourse

Maybe 4 or 5 hours. It's a very little car and my cousin and her friend helped.
