hey all, well after another long winter im getting ready for a thorough deep detailing and shining of my truck.ive decided to go old school on this one!heres my plan wash with gold class and chenille mitt clay magic blue clay w/quick detailer lube #9 2.0 on milwaukee rotary polisher #20 polymer sealant applied w/gold class yellow applicator #16 paste wax(im lucky enough to have 6 cans) w/gold class foam pad and removed w/ supreme shine. my real question involves#9. what pad should i use? w 8006 or9006. this paint is in good shape and always responds well to the claying process. i remember 9 gitting alittle gummy too. i try using a nickel size drop on a 2x2 area at around 1500 1600 rpms.i will follow 9 with quick detail spray before going to 20. any opinions on anything here look forward to. 95nissan

Sorry for this kinda useless post, but I'm very jealous that winter is over in YOUR area.

The Product, Pad and Speed settings for the Rotary Buffer thread has a chart with the info on pads for #9.
