Thanks! Yeah the owner was very pleased. =)

I wasn't sure how useful the Cosco scaffold was going to be since it didn't seem very tall, but I find it just about the perfect height for reaching the tops of cars like my wifes Nissan Murano, or the BMW X5 I worked on. Its lightweight, easy to transport.

The plastic tray holds clay when I'm not using it, bottles of Chemicals, and there's even a hole into thats perfect for holding the wand of the pressure washer. Lots of uses. =)

I'm not familiar with the painters ladders--I'll have to take a look at that.

I like your Cosco scaffold type thing, I currently have a rolling seat to move around low, but nothing to stand on. I have been looking at the Cosco brand painters ladders, very handy, two steps and a standing platform on top with a tool storage/holding area at arms reach.

I can no longer find the exact one on Coscos web site but this is similar to the one my parents have, the top standing platform was larger on theirs and very easy to stand on. I guess I am not sure if its a "painter ladder" but its the name I gave it. It was perfect for SUV's and trucks. I really liked that it remained very stable while leaning over the edge.

      Anyway... sorry for the ot.

Excellent Work. Thanks for taking lots of pics and doing the whole write-up. I know it takes a lot of work.

I'm often amazed at how well the Tacoma paint holds up. I've beat my truck up off-road pretty well, and it always shines right up.

Of course, I'll be anxious to try the M80/M21 combo next month after we get the new house (I *should* just stay late at work (I work at Meguiar's) some night and do it).

I attended the Customtacos class at HQ last weekend, and it was great to get together with other guys that have these trucks to check out each other's rides.

I like it as a one step. It's a very good product. Does amazing things with dark colors! I also like M66 Quick Detailer, but I guess what concerned me most about M66 was that it filled in buffer swirls as I worked---it could be applied with a rotary, and frankly I didn't want buffer swirls in my finish at all. Probably would have been fine as a PC application.

Yeah, I tend to agree with that. I probably should have used a dilute Hyperdressing instead.

Your post inspired me to stay late last Thursday night and do a full detail on my Tacoma. Used M80 followed by a coat of M21 applied via DA. Truck never looked so good.

Not to bring this thread back from the grave... but the M80/M21 is holding up strong, about 2 months now. This pic was taken in the bright sunlight this afternoon:

not that i don't believe it's holding up, but that's not in the bright sunlight - that would be shade.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was bright out. My Rebel XT was in automatic mode and it looks like it adjusted the aperature to make the pic look darker than it really was.
