  • Tips on applying M21?

Hey guys, my M21 should be arriving in the mail soon, i was wondering how you guys out there apply this stuff.

From the sounds of it, it applys like NXT... layer a thin, even coat.. wait a little bit, swipe test, and buff off with ease.

    How do YOU apply M21?

    Hi there,

Yep that's what I did anyways, I left it 15/20mins before removing and it worked a treat.

I put M21 thin like I do NXT and went on like any other liquid wax. I had to wait longer than NXT for it to dry and it was much harder to remove than NXT but in a different way than M16 for example. It streaked and I would have to buff it off longer to get it off. The car did have an amazing shine, at least as good as NXT.

I found the same thing. I just detailed a black Benz and when I put M21 on the hood, I found streaks. The black was a different shade in the area's where I overlapped (I used a G100 to apply).....this kind of freaked me out. I had not seen this before. Finally I tried buffing more (with the G100) to remove and everything evened out.

, just as easy to use as nxt, but the wait time is definity longer. I think its because if your applying it with a rotery it would heat up faster, so we notice the longer time with the pc's.
also remeber to have some sun glasses handy...you'll need them when you pull the car out into the sun
