  • How to professionally apply the wheel brightener ?

I extensively use the wheel brightener in my shop for cleaning both wheels and neglected customers engines
So, using a sprayer for manual application, wasn't a practical option for me (couldnt degrease nasty engines that way)
And this is why I decided to use a high pressure spraying gun...

    The results were perfect !
I could easily remove the thickest layers of grease with the minimum effort

However, the product particles fills the space, and quickly irritates my lugs and eyes

I can imagine how dangerous this can be, and this is why I'm posting here...

What's the most efficient way to "safely" and quickly apply the wheel brightener to extremely dirty engines ?

I'd use different products for engine bays: Super Degreaser, All Purpose Cleaner/ All Purpose Cleaner Plus or Engine Cleaner.

D140 Wheel Brightener is very acidy. Remember to rinse off your sprayer (it has to be chemical resistance version) with clean water after every use to prevent clogging.

There are far better solutions for engine cleaning than Wheel Brightener, and for a few reasons. WB isn't the best degreaser out there and it can be unsafe on certain materials such as polished or otherwise bare aluminum parts, plastic engine covers (potentially), etc. Further, since it is highly recommended to use both skin protection and a respirator type mask when using WB, we highly recommend against using it with a pressure sprayer. That really is not a good idea at all. Please refrain from doing this in the future, and move to a proper engine degreaser instead, such as our own Super Degreaser in the same Detailer Line.
