  • Hyper Dressing and QID ?

Okay guys, i have a few questions, so bare with me...im hoping one of the mike's will see this, but to all who have had experience, please help me out here...

I recently tried out Hyper Dressing at 1:1 for interiors...it came out great...however i have a few concerns...

I know Hyper Dressing is water based, so will using QID for dusting and cleaning once a week strip the Hyper Dressing off ?

Will water that gets on the door panels from rainy days strip the Hyper Dressing off ?

I used hyper dressing because of the super high gloss it has on engines, so i thought i'd try it out on the dashboard...i love Supreme shine protecant but i wanted something even more glossy..what other products for interiors would be considered "more high gloss" than supreme shine protectant? i was thinking Water Based Dressing but i have never seen it on any interiors..

    I appreciate your help guys...

OHHH and since we all love pictures...i cant end this post without some pics of what hyper dressing came out like..very dark and rich, and dried non greasy, applied with a foam applicator pad

    HD 1:1 on interior panels

The glossiest I have used is the Nxt Tech Protecant, but it seems a bit greasy also.

Your very high gloss finish is going to be taken down a notch or two when you apply some QID to dust the interior. You won't remove all of the HD, but you will reduce the shine. Heck, just buffing it down with a dry towel will do that to some degree. As it is water based, if you open a door in heavy rain and get a lot of water on the inside panel, wiping that off will also remove some of the product and, consequently, some of the shine.

Mat is probably dead on with the NXT Tech Protect.

Could consider ASD for durability, and has good gloss, but still a little greasy, and I doubt the shine is higher than Nxt. Havent used ASD on my dash or anything.

M40 seems to hold up pretty well against Quik Interior Detailer wipedowns.
