  • M82 instead of M205

Had some issues with hazing on really soft paint using M80/W8006/Rotary. Was considering getting some M205 to try out with a finishing pad but M205 is very, very expensive in Malaysia.

Just wanted to find out if it would be possible to use M82 instead of M205 with a finishing pad and achieve the same results.

Hoo boy!! Todd & Joe in the States and now seech and KC in Malaysia!

seech, M82 can do wonders on a finishing pad via rotary buffer. By all means give it a try.

They are very different products in how they work, but they are both great products. I love working with M82... give it a shot.

Thanks. May consider getting some for finishing work on black cars.

Just curious. Is it a Vios that's giving you this problem?

Expect some M205 coming to you soon to test out...via KC...

                Regards.

                  Re: M82 instead of M205

KirsMas, it's actually a black Accord. The paint was very soft to the point that wiping a bit too hard with a microfiber towel would cause some scratches. Could not get it to finish well enough with just a rotary. Had to follow up with a ROB.

Need to work on the rotary kung fu...... looking forward to trying out the M205.
