  • Any Last Touch Spray Detailer Die Hards Out There?

I have a new favorite Meg's, "Last Touch Spray Detailer". I love this stuff makes the black paint on my 09 Camry look clean and shiny. Not only does it leave a great shine, it seems to attract less dust than UQD does.

I wasn't all that happy with the results UQD/M135 or QD. I tried NXT Speed Detailer and it worked pretty good but is a little too expensive to use as often as I would use it. Then at the Advanced class a couple of Saturdays ago, Harry, aka Bene Vita, gave me a bottle of Last Touch after I asked him how he keeps his “Surf City Tundra” looking so good (thanks Harry). I used it once and right away ordered a gallon from ADS.

I know Ultimate Quick Detailer is the leader around here, but are there any other Last Touch die hards out there?

Prior to UQD I was a die hard fan of Last Touch, now IMO UQD is better than LT. That said Last Touch is still a great product and I always have some around for claying and I use it as a wheel detailer. I will say LT does look very nice on black! Its my second favorite QD'er.

I am an LT junkie for sure. I use a bottle of 50/50 LT and water constantly during details. I use it to pre-wipe panels to remove dust before polishing (obviously after a wash as well, but I like to be extra safe, and sometimes my details take days), I use it as a lubricating agent to REMOVE the polish once I am done buffing, and then I use LT undiluted as a first step when I am doing a QD job (every other day) as I find it is high in lubricity, and I also like how it darkens the paint a bit. Then I follow that up with UQD for the Hydrophobic properties.

I go through a gallon of LT about once a month...haha

I am also guilty of being a last touch junkie. For some reason it leaves a better looking finish on my wifes car then the uqd. Do not ask why. It justs looks better. For her car and using it as a clay lube, I am always using the Last Touch. Its a very good product.

Last Touch is a great product, It's my Favorite QD. UQD is great, but I love my Last Touch, it's so versatile that you can't ever go wrong by going with this proven QD.

Yes, I have some UQD and I use it on my wifes Trailblazer. But for some reason on my car LT leaves a better looking finish than Ultimate Quick Detailer does.

Re: Any Last Touch Spray Detailer Die Hards Out There?

I wanted to buy a gallon of Last Touch for my dark-blue 04 Elantra. But I still have half-a-gallon of Final Inspection. Final Inspection leaves a MATTE finish, since it's a Body-Shop product (no silicone). I'll buy one afterwards. That

Last Touch is one of my favorite products. It's just so versatile and it comes in a gallon size. I use it 50/50 for clay, pad priming and to remove polishes I've worked too long. I use it full strength after polishing steps to see if I'm satisfied with how the paint will 'pop' with wax and as a touch up between waxing projects.

But if there is rain in the forecast, I'll use M135 as a touch up.
