    Re: Door Jambs

Very nice. Just reminded me that I have to do that to my truck. I bet they're pretty dirty too.

Beautiful work! Now that everything is clean, you should spray a hint of white lithium at the joints. Keep them lubed up. Keep up with the cleaning and then make sure they're lubed. Its a constant cycle.

You're at the point where many detailers get. Things look so good that the only objections are the areas you haven't done.

This means you must have just moved another step up in your detailing work. Congratulations and that Corvette looks oh so nice!

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Mike, I can't believe you don't do this as part of your regular routine on the beautiful black 'Vette.

Shame on you sir, you don't deserve that car. Please PM me with your address so that I might stop by and pick it up from you.

Kidding, kidding........nice work!! I'm sure you and the car both feel much better now.

Looks very good, definately an over looked area for most people. A wipe up under the doors between the foam/rubber gaskets and the gaps there can find a lot of dirt as well.

    Door Jambs

I thought I would spend some time on my door jambs. I couldn't believe how dirty they were. I spend so much time on the outside of my vehicles that I overlook other important items to be detailed.

I used the slide lock detail brush to get the loose dirt. Then I sprayed the jambs with Last Touch and wiped them down with a microfiber towel. It was looking OK, but I sprayed the entire jambs with Hyper Dressing to get a better shine.

I used Trim Detailer on the weather stipping applying it with a foam pad and to finish off the doors I used Quik Interior Detailer.

    What a difference!!!
