  • M21 and NXT a winning combo!

Greetings everyone. I figured I would finally chime in with my own M21 review!

Due to the fact winter is about to start, I wanted to protect my wifes car for the upcoming rainy season. To be quite honest, the paint is in very good condition and probably did not need a fresh coat of wax, but when has that ever stopped any of us?!?!

My method of attack is as follows:

    1) Wash- Generic car shampoo until I can justify buying a new bottle of NXT wash.
    2) A thin coat of NXT Tech Wax Liquid applied with a PC @ #5 speed using Meg's W-9006 Finishing Pad
    3) Microfiber removal of dried NXT (30 min cure time)
    4) A thin coat of M21 applied with PC @ #5 speed setting and Meg's W-9006 Finishing Pad.
    5) Microfiber bonnet on Meg's cutting pad on PC to remove dried M21 after about 20 minutes of cure time.

You may be asking "What no clay? No polish?" Well all I can say is that I was in a hurry!! The full monty treatment comes after Christmas!!!

I'll let you decide what you think of the results of the combo. My opinion of M21.... TOTALLY AWESOME (To borrow a famous movie line). 21 could not be easier to use. It spreads evenly and easily and removes in the same manner. 21 did not turn to powder and left no chalk that needed to be worked off the final finish.

I was already a fan of NXT Tech wax, but I truly feel that 21 adds a level of depth to the finish that NXT alone doesn't quite accomplish. Meg's has a definate winner on their hands here. I will update everyone on the durability of 21 as the season progresses.

In closing, I hope everyone has a safe and blessed Merry Christmas!

Looks great, there is a lot of paint there to keep looking good!

I noticed you applied NXT and #21 @ speed 5, looks like it worked well for you. I keep mine a little lower at 3.

Thanks GB. I have always admired your work on your truck so I appreciate the input. I agree that 5 is a little high. (Better for polishing/defect work.) Think next time will use the lower speed and see if the results are any different

Nice work Steve, that's a lot of paint to take care of...
