Body Solvent questions....

I received a 32oz sample of Body SOlvent today from ADS, and I noticed it smells like the base for the GC Tar&Bug Remover (which I like very much). It has same feel and smell.

I understand this to be a wax, tar, bug remover, am I right?? It can be used on paint as a surface prep for polishing?

As far as I understand, it is quite a bit like a tar remover, and those sort of products. It is not going to replace a cleaning step, like DC#1, #80, etc before polishing.

Ok, I figured so. I jts needed a good first step cleaner to use BEFORE polishing, cleaning paint to remove wax, tar etc.

GC Bug & Tar works a lot better, IMO. For one, it removes stuff. For two, it is thicker and stays where you spray/dab it better.

The GC bug&Tar remover sprayer lasted me only 2-3 uses, then it died. I use it by hand until its out. This Body Solvent seems a little more concentrated then T&B remover. I think the sprayer I received from ADS with the body solvent sample will last longer me hopes.
