  • A rave for the discontinued APC+!

I got this from Dealer Goodies, they still have some, and also some of the other discontinued stuff.

My wife's car had an indeterminate stain on the carpet in the back; last year I'd tried Carpet Magic, Stoner's Carpet Cleaner, Griot's Interior Cleaner, Rug Doctor Stain Remover, Stain Lifter's Spot Remover, and everything else under the sun.

Today, we soaked the stain with APC+ at around 10:1 dilution, let it soak for about 10 minutes, and scrubbed it in with a brush. On first whack with the Bissell, the stain came right up! It was a pretty deep stain, and we had to attack it 3 times, but APC+ is the ONLY product that had any effect on it at all, ever!

I have to agree with you on that. There have been several stains that only APC+ has been able to get out. Heck, there was a wierd dirt sticky stain on the carpet next to my computer that nothing would touch and APC+ took it off the first time no problems. Heck, I even use it to clean my bird cage. I just am hoping the replacment all purpose cleaner is just as good if not better (which I know it will be knowing Meguiar's).

I agree guys. APC+ is a killer product (I still have a couple of gallons of it in the garage sealed) but, after utilizing the new APC while attending the 3-Day Advanced Surface Care Class at Meguiar's back in April (prior to the product having been released to the public), I can attest that the new is as good, and probably better, than the old.

We were working on a 2001 SAAB (I think it was a 01) and were removing stains in the floor mats that were just as ground in and set as they could possibly be. APC took it out first time with stellar results!

Trust me here, I don't think you all will be disappointed in the replacement to APC+. It's a sure win!

HINT: I keep a bottle of APC under the sink at the house to clean up dog stains on the carpet and other 'mysterious' stains as they appear. Don't keep this product locked up in the garage; it's useful in SO many applications!

        Mosca,

Don't you have to have a dealer ID # to order from Dealer Goodies? If so, I'm guessing most of us can't order

Yeah. I had heard that they would ship out of state without a dealer ID, but now I'm hearing that's not so.

I do have a PA dealer ID. FWIW, the service is great.
