    Hi:

No. 81 hand polish on black or any dark color is a must have, really added to the depth of color. No. 81 followed by NXT wax is a great look.

          Hi Vandelete & hatrik3

The paint had been cleaned using MPPC about 6 weeks ago. It was also waxed with NXT wax at that time.

Since the paint was in good condition I did not apply a paint cleaner at this time.

I simply washed the vehicle and applied #81 followed by NXT wax.

I do not have a PC so all work was done by hand. Just got a PC so will be using it in the future.

Application of the #81 was not difficult. Some people have a hard time removing this product but I did not experience any problem. I applied the product with a cotton terry towel, rubbing in into the paint well. As soon as I finished a section I would wipe it off with a different cotton terry towel buffing it to a high gloss. If there is any light residue of #81 left on the paint after buffing, the NXT wax will clean it up so don’t worry about it. I then applied a coat of NXT wax. I worked one section of the vehicle at a time, applied #81 and followed with NXT wax until I completed all sections of the vehicle.

Great look – this is what I plan to use from now on.

            Thanks KTruck

I think I'll try that combo. I already use the NXT and love it. Usually do DC1 and DC2 before NXT but I have black paint and hear good things of the look with #81. I dont have a PC so will be applying by hand.

I am Claying my truck this next time so I think i'll just apply the #81 followed by 2 coats of NXT after I clay.

              Hi Tim:

              Sounds like a great plan.

Just make sure to shake the bottle of #81 while you are using it. It does have a tendency to separate, so shake the bottle as you use it to make sure the product you are applying has a consistent texture to it. I have used it by hand and it works fine. If you have a hard time getting it off, just apply a little more product to that area and wipe it off.

Has anyone tried 81 on red? I was just wondering if I should use 81 instead of 7 on my new 2003 Ranger (CC).

Also, does anyone have any pictures of your results?

#81 is awsome stuff...I like to apply it by hand though, instead of machine. It seems to come off easier after hand application too.
