  • PLASTX Before and After

Here's a quick peek at a nice before and after pic of a pair of fog light lenses.

Dramatic difference. The car owner was floored. The other guys at the shop couldn't believe either. I did get someone interested in ordering product but no detail clients.

Now well see how long this lasts.

      Good Job scrub,

PlasticX works great at restoring dirty, stained, faded and oxidized plastics.

Nice demo! There is always a need for PlastX in the Garage, even make new plastic look "newer". Use it all the time.

Thanks for replies. Like I said earlier the owner was floored by the display. It took maybe ten minutes. I just hope the finish lasts for a few months.

I'll be posting his full car pics later. Not sure of year but its an old school Mustang with SS paint.

          Thanks again!

Just wanted to add another PlastX Before and after...

I used a cotton terry towel to apply the PlastX and then remove it. I didn't spend a whole lot of time on it and it was hard to get around the "LS" but it sure looks better. Next time I will have to spend some more time on it.

BEFORE SHOT, this is after a good hand washing with Gold Class Shampoo:

              PlastX on black plastic?

I can I tell which one to use, PlastX or plastic dressings such as Gold Class Trim Detailer or NXT Protectant?

PlastX should only be used on clear plastic. You can use it on any shiny plastic bits, but not those with a matt finish like most trim. PlastX will make them glossy, which may not be an effect you want for grained trim.

                  Check this post out: http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/sho...ghlight=PlastX

Superior Shine used it on blue.

The trim on the car was once glossy... It looks like a clear plastic with black behind it.
