I have now used the Versa-Angle Body Brush a handful of times in combination with NXT Generation Speed Detailer and a Supreme Shine Microfiber for removing light dust/contaminates from my vehicle.
Following the suggestions from other members of MOL I did the following:
1. Go over the entire vehicle with the Versa-Angle Body Brush
2. Using the Supreme Shine Microfiber and some NXT Generation Speed Detailer I "quik detailed" my vehicle.
I have never liked using a Quik Detailer alone on my truck for fear of the "light contaminates" adding fine scratches to the black paint. So, IMO this is the only way to "quik detail" a darker colored vehicle. I feel most comfortable using this process as it seem its very gentle on the surface minimizing any fine scratches.
As for the Body Duster.... this is a great product. When I first used it I was getting some shedding of the fibers. I gave it a good shake a couple times and that seemed to cure the problem, there is still the occasional fiber here and there but nothing to worry about. I like holding the duster just over the surface of the paint, letting the fibers hang down on the paint, this seems to be the best/most gentle way to remove the light dust/contaminates.
Using the products listed above is a great way to remove light dust/contaminates and IMO about the most gentle way it can be done.
