  • Hyper Dressing - another good one!

I have had a chance to use Hyper-Dressing for about a month now and here are my thoughts.... First off this is a very flexible product with the various dilution levels(I prefer the 3:1). You can't beat the look of this product under the hood, its a winner there! It really doesn't attract dust like other products that I have used, sure it gets dusty but its not excessive like other products I have used under the hood. Quick wipe with a dry towel, the dust is gone and it still looks great.

Another great place I have used HD is in the wheel wells, I spray it on and leave it, no wiping. Wheel wells are a harsh environment more so when it rains, after a rain the HD is prety much gone but thats to be expected. Wheel wells are often over looked but this is an easy to apply product in this area. Yes it does stain the driveway but my driveway is full of stains anyway so no big deal.

Overall this is a great product, I would guess its going to last me a lifetime! I really like the idea of the different dilution levels, I have found the one I like but its nice to have other options if needed.

    I LOVE Hyper dressing

My only complaint about it is the fact that when I dress an engine bay, it goes on milky white and needs to be wiped down and leaves these white puddles of dressing in certain spots in the engine bay

I spray it in the wheel wells as well but I do wipe it. The majority of the surface area in my wheel wheels is smooth black plastic and I find I like the look on that better it I wipe it. I actually use old terry towel shop rags for this.

That is one of the things I like most about H/D. It does come off after a rain. I usually tend to re-wash and do a good mini detail after most rains and H/D is the one dressing I don't have to scrub at to remove.

I use it straight on the exterior. I like the gloss. On the interior I do dillute.

Here is something else I love about H/D. It is very easy to touch it up. Here is a neat trick to try.

For my tires I try use a tire swipe to apply. I try to get by with using the least amount of product I can to apply. Most of the time just 2 squirts. Once applied I then go over the tire real quick with a KIWI wooden handled shoe shine brush. This does a great job of smoothing out the hit or miss spots around the lettering and such where I may have accumulated a tad too much product and I would risk getting sling from. The brush does a great job of smoothing this out without being so aggressive that it removes to H/D from the surface of the tire itself thus risking "dull" spots.

Here is the trick. Every couple of days I can touch it up if I so chose by simply putting one quick mist on the shoe shine brush. I find I had bad luck touching up most of the other dressings once applied to my tires. It seemed that if I touched it up I would just about always get sling. Not so with H/D.

I'd love to try the new water based dressing but for some reason it is unavailable in MD.
