I have a new car that I have waxed with another company's product. I would like to try the NXT wax. Should I remove the old wax and then use the NXT or would it be ok to go with the NXT right away. If removal is recommended what method would be the best way? Thanks.

NXT over old wax?

Well, there are 2 main considerations:
1. Is your surface clean? You dont want to wipe dirt, etc that is on the previous wax acros the surface.
2. Different companies products dont always play nice together, though I have never heard of major compatibility problems with Meguiars products and other companies. If anything, you might just get a smear or two.
If you feel confident the surface is in good shape, and compatibility isnt a problem, then you can just apply the wax.
If you want to start from scratch, it is best to use a good paint cleaner. I am not sure of your previous surface prep, but the full steps would be:
1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Clean - Deep Crystal #1 is a good mild cleaner, that will remove previous wax.
4. Polish
5. Wax - Apply Nxt Wax.

The others have offered up some input specific to your query. I saw that you were new so though I would point you toward some other threads I though you might find helpful.

The NXT Tech Wax has a sleight amount of some very light specialized cleaners in it, not enough to use it like a cleaner/wax but enough to insure it can bond or adhere to your car's finish.
If your car's finish is smooth as new glass, that is it doesn't have any bonded contaminants, and you're happy with the finish over all, as in no swirls or scratches, then you can go ahead and apply the NXT Tech Wax to whatever you already have and you should see some great results.
