  • Quick Detailer Wipes

What are the chances of the Quick Interior Detailing Wipes being offered in a "kleenex" type of packaging? This would make them much easier to store in door panels. Windex makes glass wipes in packages like this and I think it would be awesome if Meguiars offered their glass cleaning product in a similar manner. These would be two products I would make sure to ALWAYS have on hand.

I just thought I would bump this up to the new posts section. I think I am going to make it my mission to campaign for this type of packaging this next year. Please chime in if you think its a good idea. The product only has a chance of being produced when there is significant demand. Thanks!!!!!!

You could easily sell a case with the glass, interior, and maybe an APC wipe of some sort.

            Sounds good.

I saw a similar product when i was in the US that has just reached the UK called 'The Glosser'.

Bought a couple of packs from K-Mart i think Worked like a QD but in a wipe - were pretty good on a silver car but havent tried them on a darker car yet. Sure a Megs version would be much better as these were very cheap.

                Personally, I wouldn't use it.
A maintenance spray has specific advantages when compared to a moistened towelette.

                1. A maintenance spray adds lubricity to the surface prior to wiping. This helps to minimize dust scratching.

                2. A maintenance spray has the ability to soften hardened or stuck-on contamination (such as bird droppings and mud splatter).

                3. A maintenance spray can float loose particulate off the surface before you wipe. A towelette essentially whisks dust across the paint prior to removing it (every time).

My two cents... They'll probably make them anyway, and sells tons... Just not to me.

Hey Kevin, re-read the first sentence again. Lncanney was suggesting they package the Quick Interior Detailer Wipes in a 'Kleenex' style packaging, so that its easier to carry in a car, rather than the big cylindrical tubes that will be made available next year.

IMO, a Quick Interior Detailer wipe is not a bad idea, but a Quick Detailer wipe for paint would be something I'd avoid.

Ummm... Are you implying that your seats are NOT painted?!? Besides, leather and vinyl can accumulate dust scratches...

I only read the title on the post... "Quick Detailer Wipes." Sorry!

I like the kleenex-box idea! Make me a spray bottle in that shape for my painted seats...
