  • At the end of the unveilings, I have a question...

Are these the only products that are being released this year, or are these the only products meguiar's is showing in the sneak peek?

I ask this because of the rumors of the accu-grip wax pad and the accu-grip tire dressing pad.

I haven't heard anything about the Accu-Grip products. All of the product managers are at SEMA along with most of management, so after working at SEMA myself I know how busy and hectic life can be during this show and as such I'll hold off on e-mailing questions or phone calls till at least sometime next week.

I have a class on Monday for a group of people from Norway, so I can try to find out during breaks an answer to this question as well as when products will become available.

Land of the midnight sun? They had to come all the way to Cali to get enough light for detailing? That really says something about Meguiar's...and I thought it was impressive when someone drove for a few hours to a class! What else is the group doing while they are here?

                Mike,

                Can you explain my questions?

Seems there are now 3 more wheel cleaners? It looks like... more from the same.

                - What is the diffence with these products compared to the Hot Rims all wheel cleaner wich was sold up onto now?
Do we have to buy multiple products now, if we want to clean different types of wheels? Or, should we maintain using the "older" product?

Almost the same goes with the Tire Shine products....
There are now...... 6(?) different types of tire shine....
                - Wich one do you choose, and why?

What's new with the Thick Microfiber Wash Mitt, it looks a lot like the Ultimate Wash Mitt, wich is sold in the Netherlands?

This is not to critize the new products..... but, I'm curious at what they do.

They are attending SEMA, other than that I don't know.

These three new wheel cleaners are updated label for existing products to make it easier for customers to choose the right wheel cleaner for their wheels so they don't cause any damage to the wheel.

Choosing the right wheel cleaner is difficult for people because most people don't know much about their wheels, all they know is shiny and round. Each weekend at the Detailing Classes we teach here at Meguiar's we start the class by asking that if anyone has any questions they raise their hand and ask the question and then we write the questions down and park them till after the power point presentation. Chances are very good that most questions are answered in the power point presentation, if they are not, then we answer them during the question and answer time after the power point presentation.

There are some common questions that come up at every class, wheel care and the confusion of what each persons wheel is made of or coated with is continual questions.

Most people know their wheels are round and shiny, it ends about there. So we re-designed our labels to do everything we can to bubba-proof the selection process as someone is standing in the aisle of an auto parts store trying to decide which wheel cleaner is best for them.

So fear not, the above products are not new additions to our line, but redesigns of existing products. That's not to say they are the same formula as Meguiar's is always improving and upgrading formulas as technology improves. We just don't send out a press release every time we improve an existing formula but instead do what is called a rolling change.

I'll try to have the product manager for our tire care products either post something to address these questions or supply me with something to address these questions but it won't be till after SEMA as most/all the product managers are at SEMA.

                        Mike,

Did you talk to the product manager allready for the tire shine products?

The same goes for the Wash Mitt....

                        Thanks.

OK, now I'm confused. If these "new" wheel cleaners are relabeled and possibly reformulated existing wheel cleaners, which ones are they? Is the Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner the replacement for the Gold Class All Wheel Cleaner? And which two do the others match up to?

If I can add a similar question..

I am not sure I understand the difference between the All-Wheel Cleaner and the Multi-piece Wheel Cleaner?

They sounds very similar, just one is safe for brakes?
