If you have an O'Reily's, they carry the Quik Clay kit.

I envy you guys! I live in a place where clay bars are not as popular thus unavailable. I had a chance to buy a few more than a year ago and when I returned to where I bought it, they no longer sell any. No one buys it they say.

I already have the DC cleaner, polisher, NXT car shampoo, NXT paste wax and spray booster, and ScratchX. The only one I don't have is Meg's clay bar.

Taxes would surely kill me if I buy one online so I guess I have to keep on looking locally. Thnaks!

My Car has been painted but needs to wet sanded. DOES the Clay Bar Kit take the place of the wet sanding??

No, wet sanding and claying are two unrelated processes.

Wet sanding will remove buffer marks, scratches, things of that nature.

Clay is to remove bonded contaminants, like rail dust, paint, etc.

Read this, focus on the claying section, then you'll know what claying is for...

Wet sanding is not the type of thing you want to jump into head first if you've never done it before.

Sanding is easy, you just sand down the finish either by hand or machine. It's pretty easy overall, it does require some skill and experience helps a lot as far as knowing where to sand and where not to sand.

Removing your sanding marks is the hard part, again this is where head knowledge and experience will make the difference between success and whoops!

I can't wait to get my hands on the new clay kit. My g/f Focus was not taken care of by the first owner. Has alot of water spots that even MEG Cleaner wax couldn't get. I'm hoping this kit will help it out. If it does't work, I will still use the clay on black ZX2.
