    I agree... Clay and/or paint cleaner will make short work of cleaning the more hard to remove contaminates. using these will give you the best results.

      FWIW, I think I am going to use my wash brush for the lower portions of my cars. I don't think the brush caused any scratches, but I feel better using a wash mit on the upper areas.

      The brush does a real good job (Especially when I reverse the head) of getting into the tight areas down below.

      Note: The hair dryer does a real good job of fluffing the bristles, but I recommend using the cool setting on the dryer. Wouldn't want to melt the bristles by using heat!

        Marring or not, I guess I'll give the brushes another try today on the sides of my black Hemi. The sides have a heavy layer of Midwest winter road crud on them after a 1000 mile roundtrip trip from southeast Nebraska to northern Minnesota and back. Wet highways most of the way. Yech..... The outside temperature has hit 45 degrees. It's time to roll with the brushes and two buckets. There is already some slight marring from trying to keep a daily driver clean in the winter -- coin-op follwed by QEW.
