Tropical storm Cindy brought us some lower temps & humidity this week (Strange ain't it!), so I decided to clean up the inside of the Caravan yesterday. It took me 8 hours to finish the job, as I decided to spray APC+ (9/1) on the plastic & vinyl surfaces and scrub them with a stiff brush first......I hate to say it, but I dumped a few (4 or 5) bucket fulls of dirty water in the process.

Thinking that I would not see any dirt on the Hi-Tech applicator pad after all of the scrubbing & rinsing with APC+, I began to apply Natural Shine to the interior. But to my amazement, the foam applicator pad started picking up dirt!.......After I finished, I had went through 2 pads (Front & back), and they were very dirty!......Needless to say, the van interior looks brand new again.

Not much is said about Natural Shine, but it has been one of my favorite Meguiars products since it came out. It has great cleaning ability and I like the natural looking finish that it leaves behind. My bottle is just about gone, but I managed to find another at Auto Zone today........I was kind of worried that it might be on the chopping block, but I just saw it on the new Meguiars web site.

I like the way it looks on tires too.

Edit: I wonder what Hurricane Dennis will bring with it?

One of the reasons I think products like this get overlooked is that there are so many different ones that the weekend detailer gets confused (I know I sure do )...last night I was trying to decide on which product to get for tires and there were 5-6 choices and then which application method, aerosol or pump?....I've never even seen the product mentioned here but will now be on the lookout for it...

Around here, Auto Zone seems to be the best place to find it....... The shelf was almost empty too, so I guess that says that it's selling well.

#40 is great a great product too (With great cleaning abilities), but the local auto paint stores tend to charge too much for it, so Natural Shine is a great alternative for me at less than $5.00 a bottle.
