How long will this stuff last and how do i maintain?

I did all my exterior detailing, car looks great. I did nxt wash, clay, dcstep1, dcstep2, 2 coats of nxt wax.

What do i have to do to make sure i dont strip the wax off? I was planning on washing normally with nxt wash and a real sheepskin mitt and then Ill add some booster wax after rinsed.

Anything I am missing? Can i use a mr. clean autodry because someone bought me that. Also, what can i do to get rid of day to day dust? California duster maybe?

How long will it last if i do this before I have to redo all the steps?

To keep it up dont use any soap other than Meguiars. Theyre soaps are made so that they dont strip any wax and I dont trust the Mr. Clean soap to do that. In the mr clean gun, if you use any other soaps it will get gummed up. If you dont want to hand dry, the mr clean filter works great though. But nothing beats doing it by hand. I use a california car duster which is great, but i think meguiars makes something similar. You can also use the NXT Speed Detailer to keep the surface up to par. I do all those steps, but a little more intense, about twice a year.

If you keep up with the booster wax after every wash or every other wash you should not have to do the whole detail more than once or twice a year depending on how dirty it gets or how much energy you have.

I'd use the Mr. Clean for cleaning your house windows. I don't like the soap they use as it leaves a film on the finish. The soap is partially the reason the water sheets off so using any other soap in the Mr. Clean is not advisable. Most of the Meguiar's soaps are too thick for the Mr. Clean anyways.

I wash my cars by hand in the shade. I rinse then remove the hose nozzle and stream the water off in a film. I use a waffle-weave microfiber to blot away any water that remains. No scratch or swirls that way.

For dust control I use some plush microfibers and a quick detailer. My favorite quick detailer is "Final Inspection." I've also used "Quik Detailer" and it works well too. I have just begin to use the "NXT Speed Detailer" and like it but I like the Final Inspection best of all.

I don't particularly like the Cali duster. They leave little specks of paraffin wax on the car. This wax then grabs and holds onto dust. It is necessary to then use a quick detailer to remove these spots. I have three different Cali dusters and they all do it so while I like the concept they just don't make me happy. For me, a microfiber works better.
