  • Black vinyl dash

I tried the Gold Class Protectant Wipes on my black dash, but the finish was too greasy and shiny. I used a soft terry cloth towel to wipe it off, but now my dash looks blotchy (dull in some areas and shiny in others).

The car is brand new so the vinyl is fresh.

    Any ideas? Any suggestions?

    Hi dhalltoyo,

If you like a low shine, low sheen finish, pick up a bottle of NXT Tech Protect. Apply with a clean applicator pad, foam or cloth, allow to penetrate for 20 seconds or so, then softly wipe the dash down with a clean microfiber cloth, it will be protected, conditioned and look like new without the shine.

Here's a Corvette dash treated this way...

      If I can find it!!!!!

Meguiar's has some great products, but it is almost impossible to find a local store that stocks more than 3 or 4 different products in the Meguiar's line.

What's up with the business relationship, or regional sales reps, and these auto supply centers? It shouldn't be difficult to sell a good product.

Come on guys, I sold Toyota for years and many of my customers were employees at the local GM truck plant. AutoZone should carry every product Meguiar's produces! If you need a sales professional to assist you in helping AutoZone, Meijer's, Wal-Mart, etc to wake up and smell the coffee, please feel free to contact me.
