  • QD right after using NXT

Uh-oh, last weekend I waxed my car w/ NXT, right afterwards followed up w/ QD to remove any leftover wax and it looked great. A few days later though, it looked like there wasn't any wax left on my paint! I assume the QD may have removed it since it didn't have time to properly cure?

You are correct. After removing wax residue, leave it alone so it will cure. 12-24 hours is the rule.

      Read this,

      NXT Cure Time

There is no rule for how long a person must wait after applying any wax, (not just NXT), there are best case scenarios.

Actually, there is a lot of good reading in the Hot Topics forum, (the forum the above thread is located in), check them out!

My other thought was that perhaps the wax froze on a freakishly cold night his past month. What would happen if NXT froze?
