I would strongly agree with that statement!

NXT Tech Wax Paste works great, just focus on the task at hand when applying and do your best to apply a thin coat. It's easy to apply this wax too thickly and this can make removal a tad more difficult than the liquid version. If you can apply a thin, thin coat however, it will remove easily and look awesome!

I think I like the paste muy better. I used my PC this time and buttered the pad with a plastic putty knife and seemed to use less product than the liquid. Also just maybe might have gone on a little thinner as it was super easy to take off. But I will say that when I use the PC it is always easier to take off as it can be applied much thinner that way. ME LIKEY MUCHO!!!!

I really like the paste version too. So much, in fact, I gave my half full bottle of NXT to my brother. The paste sets up for removal faster and is easier to lay down a thin even coat via PC than the liquid.

I just used the paste yesterday on my H2. I put it on like icing on a cake and it was tough to get off

NXT Tech Wax Paste, like any paste wax or liquid for that matter need to be applied using thin coats. It's harder to apply a thin coating of a paste wax versus a liquid because of the nature of the beast, the best thing to do is to focus on the task at hand and liquefy the paste while it's in the can using your applicator by spinning it onto of the wax. This will allow the wax to seep into the pad somewhat like a liquid would.

          Thin coats.

I have found that that it takes me about the same amount of time to apply the paste wax by hand as it does to apply the liquid with a pc. I guess that I did learn something after 45 years of "hand waxing". You haven't lived until you have used the original "Blue Coral" paste wax.

While I am a fan of the NXT liquid wax I do not care for the paste wax at all. It is difficult to apply a thin layer of this stuff. It does not go on as easily or smoothly as a carnauba (like S100, Souveran, etc.) and is a pain to remove. The results are as good as liquid NXT but not worth the effort IMHO. I was anxiously looking forward to a paste version of NXT but I will not be buying more of this stuff once it runs out (if it ever runs out).

The paste wax is great, easy on easy off, I have a 2004 Mitsu Lancer Ralliart that is Yellow, the NXT made it look better than the day I drove it off the lot. I would post pics but I don't have a digital camera right now, and I am using my work computer.

SdLexus, I have to disagree with you on this, I myself, am very new to waxing, only 15 years as just a consumer and I couldn't be happier with the paste wax. Maybe you are putting too much on your pad??

You posted that to your own thread, thats funny

Nxt paste is great. I love it on clear coated wheels. So much better than liquid. I still prefer liquid on paint, that is only because I am thin coat challenged.

Well as with everything, YMMV. I actually enjoy applying paste waxes by hand as an LSP. Carnaubas such as S100/P21S, Natty's and Souveran are a pleasure to use because they are VERY easy on and VERY easy off (even if accidentally applied thick in some areas). In my experience NXT Paste Wax is not very forgiving if applied a bit thick. I'll stick to the liquid applied with my PC.

I used the paste version for the first time this weekend. I thought that it was one of the easiest pastes to use. Granted, if you apply it thick, it does require a little work, but still fairly easy IMO. After using the liquid and paste by hand and with a pc, I like the liquid better by pc and paste better by hand. But that is only my opinion, your results may vary.

Ah, so I am not the only one to notice this! I thought the paste seemed to set up faster. Even when applied too heavily it is easy to remove. Most important of all, it is not affected by ambient relative humidity at all, it still sets up fast!

I like to use the Spray Booster Wax, but I have problems with streaking when the humidity is high. When the humidity is ridiculous, I think I'll just use the NXT Paste instead.

I absolutely have to try the Paste by machine. It seems to me that applying a thin coat would be easier with the Paste, because you have more control over how much you apply to the pad. With a liquid, it comes rushing out and it is easier for too much to get on the pad.

I have yet to see anything beat the look of the NXT (liquid or paste) Tech Wax when maintained with the Speed Detailer!
