If I could put 6 thumbs up I would. I just KNEW I was going to love this. Guys: $3, probably one of the best bargains you will find anywhere.
I wax my car so frequently that I really don't get the wax out of the cracks and crevasses every time. I let those go, and get them once in a while, like this weekend which is a two-event season opener, with the LVMOC CarBQ on Saturday and the Del-Val Picnic on Sunday, so I like to have the car looking stand-up-pull-your-eyes-out perfect as I can get it.
Soooo, I did a coat of #7 over the NXT, and then I capped it with #26. And then I went around the car with the TDDB.
There are so many great things about this tool. I love the way the handle is angled to allow access to tight spots. I love the medium stiff bristles at the end. I love the large medium bristles "toothbrush style". The tiny super stiff bristles are PERFECT for working small areas without marring the paint!
One caveat: With ANY bristled brush of this sort, if you work it directly against the paint it will definitely mar it! It's nothing you can't fix with ScratchX, but then you have to go back with the TDDB... just be careful. The stiff bristles are short and narrow, giving you plenty of control. It's called DETAILING for a reason. Take your time, go slow, be careful, pay attention to the DETAILS.
Rather than write about the myriad uses, I'll just put up the pictures of where I used it.
The bristles on the end are perfect here:
An example of how the thinness of the row of stiff bristles is a real advantage to preventing marring:
This is an example of a place you want to be careful:
Notice here, between the weatherstrip and the front plastic nose:
