  • Meguiar's NXT Tire Cleaner - Reviewed

    Product:

    Meguiar's NXT Tire Cleaner

    Price & Price Per Ounce:

    $4.99
    $.33/ounce

    Manufacturer Claims:

NXT Generationâ„¢ Tire Cleaner quickly removes road grime, grease, contaminants, brake dust and tire dressing build-up. Our thick, luxurious foam clings to the tire sidewall to deeply penetrate and break away the toughest dirt and grime. Works great to brighten white lettering and whitewalls too.

    Packaging:

Comes in an aerosol can with a well controlled foaming nozzle.

    Color/Scent/Viscosity:

A white foam with a fresh scent.

How I used (as per instructions):

Spray on, let sit for 30 seconds, agitate, and rinse.

    Overall Thoughts:

I tried it on lightly browned tires and it proved to work out well. I sprayed it on, let sit for 30 seconds, agitated with a stiff brush (yup the interior brush), and rinsed. I had to really work the foam in as this proved to be a rather mild cleaner. I also had to use a lot of product which I wasn't thrilled about. It worked as advertised but took too long and too much product to do so. I'll finish up the bottle and thats it.

    Other Notes:

Meguiar's APC cut 10:1 with water proved to be faster, more effective, and cheaper.
