  • Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax Paste - Reviewed

    Product:

    Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax Paste

    Price & Price Per Ounce:

    $15.99
    $1.45/ounce

    Manufacturer Claims:

After 10 years of research and development into advanced polymer chemistry, Meguiar’s has launched a paste wax powered by ESP technology. The result is the most advanced synthetic protectant available for today’s modern paint finishes. Our ESP technology eliminates fine scratches and swirls and leaves your finish deeper, wetter, shinier and more reflective. NXT Generation Tech Wax Paste also offers the most durable protection available today by creating a tough polymer barrier film with anti-corrosive agents.

    Packaging:

Comes in a bright easy to use tin that allows the supplied applicator to fit well and 'take' product as needed.

    Color/Scent/Viscosity:

It's a paste substance and off-white in color with the signature, lime, NXT scent.

How I used (as per instructions):

Apply in thin coats, let haze (10-15 mins), remove with MF towel.

    Overall Thoughts:

After washed, clayed, and polished, I applied the NXT Tech Wax Paste with the supplied applicator in very thin coats to the red Saab I was working on. It took me about 7-10 mins to apply to the entire car and after the swipe test, it was ready to remove. I removed with a Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel and it came off without streaking. The finish revealed a deepened, wettened, more reflective red than ever before. I was a bit more impressed with the paste than the liquid on this color for it's more pronounced looks and faster setup time.

    Other Notes:

Apply times 2-3 for more brilliance.
