Product: Meguiar's Mist and Wipe Quik Interior Detailer

    Price & Price Per Ounce:

    $4.99
    $.31/ounce

    Manufacturer Claims:

Quik Interior Detailer is the fastest way to clean and shine all interior surfaces. Use it every time you wash or Quik Detail your paint to give your interior that "just detailed" look. In just minutes, your entire interior can look sharp and smell fresh. Quickly and easily maintains the look and feel of interior plastics, vinyl, leather, rubber, metal and even audio/video equipment. The safe, high lubricity formula lifts off dust, ashes, dirt, grime, spills and fingerprints without build-up. And, unlike traditional protectants that leave an artificial greasy feeling, Quik Interior Detailer leaves your interior surfaces looking natural and revitalized.

    Packaging:

A nice, cleanly put together bottle that fits well ergonomically. It proves very easy to use and the sprayer produces a very fine, controlled mist.

    Color/Scent/Viscosity:

It's a clearish water thin liquid that smells very fresh and pleasant.

How I used (as per instructions):

Spray on surface and wipe away with an MF towel.

    Overall Thoughts:

I tried this product on both prior protected and never protected surfaces. In both instances I sprayed 2-3 spritz' per panel and wiped away with an MF towel. No matter what, the product never streaked. I liked the very very slight darkening effect it produced on non-protected surfaces, letting you know that the area was 'fed'. On protected surfaces I felt it took away too much of the sheen from my protected dash. I like a bit of sheen so what I did was spray 1 spritz onto the MF, then wipe the dash clean. This proved to work better and easily removed light soil. This product also removed light soil marks pretty well showing its 'Quik Detail' tendencies.

    Other Notes:

I will keep this in my arsenal for my weekly wash customers and occasionally for my use if the soil content permits.

Very good assessment of this product!

I think you'll be impressed with how little the Quik Detailer attracts dust.

Nice review. I used Natural Shine on the interior this past weekend. The interior looks super clean, not greasy at all. I was very impressed. The time before that, I used some stuff from SIMONIZ that I got for XMas (hey, I'm at least going to try it out). It was way to greasy and it had little cleaning ability. I think I'll try the Interior QD to add a little, just a little, bit of sheen to the Natural Shine's cleaning ability.

haven't tried natural shine before - but the interior QD won't add any sheen/shine...in fact may more than likely remove it...I had nxt protectant on my dash(semi gloss finish)...the QD left it clean as the day out of the factory...no shine - very matte/very clean...may have to try natural shine if it has this same look
