So, I have this stuff to test, but there's a problem... I don't have any metal on my cars to polysh.
Hmmmm. What should I do?
I know! how about...
THIS!
Hey, there's a picture of a muffler on the side of the jar; a grill gets as hot as a muffler does, I'd think.
The all metal polysh is similar to other NXT products in that a little bit goes a long way. More definitely does not mean better, especially in the case of satin textured stainless steel; too much product and it gets into the grain and is a SOB to get out. Use a thin coat, the same thinness as you use NXT on your car.
I started taking it off with a cotton terry towel, but switched almost right away to a mf. the mf swiped the product right off, leaving a nice smooth clean satiny finish. I tried a mf bonnet on the G100, but that didn't do anything special. I didn't work on the firebox at all, it's a rough white aluminum that I felt wouldn't respond well to being polyshed.
So, here it is, all done:
I'm happy. The steaks are going on in a minute or two. I'm sure any residual protection is burned right off the cover, but hey; the polysh does a nice job!
