I dunno. I had to get out a brush. My tires weren't all mudded up, just dirty. Well, one of them was a little muddy on the sidewall. This cleaner did very little to actually loosen or remove roadfilm from my tires.
IMO, the whole idea of getting a product dedicated to one thing, such as cleaning tires, is that you are trading money for time and effort; it costs more, but it's easier and works better. For me, this dedicated tire cleaner worked no better than a brush dipped in the wash water. And once you have to get out a brush, there's no need for a dedicated tire cleaner.
