  • How to clean the brushes

After 8 cars, the wide body brush head started looking pretty dingy. So, I sprayed some APC at 10:1 directly onto the bristles, and took the tire brush and brushed the two together, back and forth, in and out, all around. Hosed it off, and it looked much better! (But not perfectly white.)

This also works on the tan wheel brushes.

As the light changed from red to green to yellow and back to red again, I sat there thinking about life. Was it nothing more than a bunch of honking and yelling? Sometimes it seemed that way.

Thanks for your insight Tom. I imagine a dish soap might also work well to remove any tough dirt or grime from our new brushes also as I know some people may not have Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner from our Professional Detailer line in their arsenal.

Have you tried hosing them out really well after each use? I've found that they just wrinse clean with no problems. This holds true with even the tire brush which gets the worst grime in it.
