What material are you using the Spray Wax on to apply to the tar spot? If it is a cotton towel the cleaning would be more of a function of the towel and the friction created by it rather than any extremely mild cleaners in the spray wax. The Spray Wax is acting as a lubricant while you are rubbing.

I know what you mean and that was what I think at first.
So I try the second tar spot with Gold Class applicator pad(W002).
Than I work on the tar spot long enough and the spot was gone again....(I work on that spot only without touching any other part of my car)
The whole issue was like using the step1 paint cleaner, is able to clean away dirt on the paint work.
