My review of the NXT Tire Cleaner…
Packaging & Labeling:
The packaging and labeling is fine. It comes in a very colorful spray can… what more can I say.
Usage Tips/Directions:
Directions are good and typical for these types of products…
Spray the foam on to the tire.
Let set for 30 seconds.
For heavy dirt, agitate with a tire brush.
Rinse thoroughly.
NOTE: There are precautions about the use of the product that should be read before usage. This should be the case with any product… read the precautions.
Performance:
The tire cleaner performed very well and appears to be a product with considerable cleaning power. I also like cleaning products that “cling� to the surface and have at least a little dwell time to work… this one does that. When used in concert with the Versa-Angle Tire Brush, it cleaned up the tires nicely. I was particularly impressed with the way it cleaned up the RWL tires on one of my vehicles.
Value:
One of my only concerns about this product… is its economic value. Most foam tire cleaners generally don’t provide many applications before the product runs out. Based upon the amount of product I used on 8 tires and how much product seems to be left in the can… this may be this products one minor downfall.
Conclusions:
Pros:
Easy to use.
Like the foam.
Cleans very well.
Cons:
Price per usage?
Needs to be used with some user caution.
Initial Ratings:
All in all, a very good product!
For Joe Consumer, who will probably use this product infrequently, it is a winner!
Consumer rating = 9
Although it works well and is strong enough for the detailing enthusiast, there are some other products that also work well and are considerably more economical. Some of those products are in the Meguiar’s product line.
Detailing Enthusiast rating = 8
