Well, this will be my first of many reviews, as I have a quite a few of the Meguiar’s accessories and new products for evaluation. Therefore, I would like to start with some general comments:
Having gone over the products for a couple of days, I can conclude that the folks at Meguiar’s have given a great deal of thought into the development of these products. The accessories are designed well, versatile, and constructed of durable, high quality materials. Given the price of these accessories, one will have a hard time finding fault… but I’ll see what I can do.
Seriously, kudos to the folks at Meguiar’s for the inception of this line of accessories.
Keep in mind that these reviews will be my initial reviews. I will be coming back with an additional review as a long term evaluation update. At that time, I hope to have a good digital camera for some nice pictures to go with the reviews.
In addition, these reviews will be in a slightly different format than some others. I plan on evaluating the products and rating them on two different levels using a scale from 1 to 10 (10 the highest). The first level will be the consumer level (occasional user); the second level will be the detailing enthusiast (and detailers).
My review of the Versa-Angle Tire Brush.

Packaging & Labeling:
The packaging of the brush was fine. I am not a big fan of the “sealed packaging systems, but at least with these packages you can touch the bristles of the brush to get a feel for the product “before you buy. This opening also gives you a place to get the sealed package off the product without too much swearing!
Labeling is also not that important to me, as it does nothing for the performance of the product. However, for those that do value it, the labeling was very nice… elegant and eye catching but not overdone. The manufacturers are certainly entitled to use labeling to their advantage.
Usage Tips:
The Usage Tips were very good, considering the small area to work with on the packaging. In the case of the Tire Brush, it’s not that complicated. Still, the Usage Tips did point out that the brush should be rinsed between tires……… a good thing.
Performance:
The Tire Brush performed extremely well. The bristles are firm and dense enough to really scrub the surface clean with a minimum of effort. The Versa-Lock handle is very a nice feature. It allows you to choose one of two or three (I think) different length handles if you have them. Although, I believe the short one that comes with the brush is the best one to use. You can also flip the handle for a different approach angle to your work. To be honest, with this brush, I found that removing the handle was even better. For me, the palm grip is perfect for really putting some firm pressure to get the tires good and clean. The extra pressure and firm bristles really help out nicely on RWL tires.
Value:
A very good product at a very competitive price. This brush does exactly what a good tire brush should do, and it does so quite easily.
Conclusions:
Pros:
Strong construction.
Handy grip and interchangeable handles.
Firm, dense bristles.
Great price.
Cons:
None that I could find... yet.
Initial Ratings:
I doubt that Joe Consumer will ever need another tire brush.
Consumer rating = 10
Handy, versatile, constructed well, and performs as advertised. Everything a detailing enthusiast needs.
Detailing Enthusiast rating = 10

Again, I will be doing a long term evaluation update of this brush.
