ScratchX is a miracle product!!!!!

Today I tried out ScratchX....all I can say is WOW
I couldn't believe it, as I was applying the product, the scratch disappeard before my eyes...amazing....

The more I look at these pics, the more they amaze me.....I still can believe it....great product Meguiar's...

You can do it by hand, no sweat!
You may need several applications, using an applicator pad rub in the product and you'll see the scratch dimishing before your eyes ...after that buff with a terry cloth and apply wax to protect.

Wow looks impressive. I have just bought myself some Scratch X today. Because i was looking on the website and these forums, and saw that it works great. So i will give it a go this weekend. By the way does anyone know if i will have to reapply Scratch X after a few months once i remove the scratch..or is it pretty much permanent.

Welcome to Meguiar's Online!

ScrtachX is a cleaner in that it removes the scratch. Once you have removed the marring, it is gone!

Thanks for the reply 2hotford. Wow, that's good if it is gone for good. I bought the tube of Scratch X and the application pad pack..but i didn't buy Ultimate Wipes. I dont really need Ultimate Wipes right?

Hey,

The Ultimate Wipe microfiber towel could be substituted with high quality 100% Cotton Towels. The Ultimate Wipe's help to prevent swirl/towel marks from being put back into the surface after removing the ScrtachX. IMHO, using the Ultimate Wipe is an important tool in bringing your paint finish to its maximum potential!

Tried it out today after washing the car, It did take a few applications of the product to notice any difference. I think it worked pretty good. Although it was in the late afternoon without alot of sunlight, i shall see the final result tommorow. Overall great product, though it needs queit abit of effort to work it into the paintwork to be effective. Scratches that could be seen head down, can't be seen now or from a distance, althought i could slightly (barely) see it on certain angles. But it was alot better then it was before...i might need to apply it again on my next wash. Nice one Meguiars! Im thinking of trying the other products you have as well.
