Ult Protection was applied to a Jeep Cherokee's trim, taken to a car wash a week later, & now the UP has run down the paint in several places. Two coats were applied because the trim had not been touched in over a year except for auto car washes. What could cause it to run? Applied too thickly, two coats? Also, can the parts where the trim has run be buffed with a cloth to stop further running? Opinions welcome.

Re: Ult Protection running
With that one, you kind of want to apply thin and work it in. Too much/too thick is definately a possibility. Of course, some plastic also just doesnt like a dressing...
I like to come back and wipe off excess when I apply a dressing, but with the Ult. Protectant, there really shouldnt be any.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Did you clean the surface thoroughly before applying the UP?Originally posted by BluelineI own a silver vehicle and a black vehicle owns me. The black one demands attention, washing, detailing, waxing and an occasional dinner out at a nice restaurant. The silver one demands nothing and it looks just fine. I think the black vehicle is taking advantage of me, and the silver car is more my style. We can go out for a drive without her makeup and she looks fine. If I want to take the black one out, it is three or four hours in the "bathroom" to get ready.
