NXT Glass Cleaner
After driving almost 400 Miles from Las Vegas, my windscreen was plastered with bug guts. Since I didn't have the time nor the energy to wash my car, I thought I would just clean off with windshield with some NXT Glass Cleaner.

Starting the Timer

Just to show how fast NXT Glass Cleaner works, I started my stop watch.

BEFORE

While it's not all that visible in the picture from the outside, bug guts were everywhere!! Gooey, yellow, sticky stuff, and hard as glue guts and body parts, all over the place!

Meguiar's to the Rescue!!

I sprayed it on, and left it sit for about 2 minutes.



AFTER 2 Minutes

Then I wiped off one half of the windscreen to compare. I used a microfiber towel.

Proof!!


AFTER

Another minute passed as I sprayed the other half of the windshield and wiped it off. This was a single application.

FINAL

As you can see, it's very clear now! What I enjoyed so much about using NXT Glass Cleaner is that it took only a minute for it to penetrate and loosen the bug guts. It took very little rubbing to remove the body parts, and in just a few minutes, my windshield was clean again without any streaks!

I'm sold on NXT Glass Cleaner! No streaks or ammonia smells, and fast penetration of bug guts! I love it!

Thanks for the review. Did you try NXT glass cleaner on the inside? I should try to find a bottle locally to compare to other glass cleaners.

Yes, I like it on the inside too.

But in this case I wanted to test how well it removed hard bug guts from glass and how long it would take to do so. Prior to NXT, I used Stoners and thought it was the greatest, but I'm happy to be able to use Meguiars at all steps of car prep now!

My wife Lynn found another great use for this product, white tile counter tops.

Since most household cleaners have a tint/color to them, and most glass cleaners as well, if you use these types of products to clean your tile counter tops, you will tint the grout the color of the cleaner, then it's very difficult and time consuming to bleach them white again.



Wait till the new Duo Fiber Glass Towel starts to make it's way out to your local stores... the combination of both cotton and microfiber woven together makes for and awesome glass wiping towel.

I took a long time for Meguiars to release a glass cleaner in their consumer line. I will say that it was worth the wait!

I think its time to set stoners IG to the side. From time to time I will have trouble with streaking/haze from the IG and could never pinpoint the problem. IG seems to take some buffing to get it to look good. It still is a good product but almost seems temperamental at times.

Now for the NXT Glass Cleaner. This worked VERY well, no steaks very easy to apply/remove with little to no effort. Very pleasant smell. I like the "no-haze" long as it holds true that alone makes is a great glass cleaner.

Although its only my first time using NXT GC its first on my list of glass cleaners and IG is next on the list and there is no other glass cleaner on the list. I have tired many, rainX glass cleaner, armor all glass cleaner, windex none have really work all that well.

In Aust we have had a Meguiar's glass cleaner for years and years:


Why would the small Australian market get a unique product?

I am not sure if anyone else does this, but as I am waxing my car, I give the windows a waxing too. Not sure why, maybe to reduce the extra time of using more products such as rain-x. It seems to work fine for me.

I too have waxed glass

Definitely have used wax on glass and it works great...in fact, every spring I clean all the windows on our sun room and wax them right away...never have a problem all summer with spots...
