  • Scratch X

As we are all enthusiasts, I post on car forums and read them. On one of these forums a question was asked about scratch X and a person, claiming to be a detailer, stated that Scratch X had fillers in it and did not remove the scratches. Before I blast this guy, I thought I would pose the question first. TIA

    Re: Scratch X

the carrying agents of the micro abrasives could be interpreted by some as fillers........
but that's not the science behind Scratch X........

      Re: Scratch X

If ScratchX/ ScratchX 2.0 had fillers then those removed paint defects should come back after couple car washes. I used both versions of this paint cleaner and I never experienced any defects coming back.

Thank You for the feedback. I was very sure that it did not have fillers, however I like to have my ducks in a row before I start making statements. Truth in advertising. LOL

Its not that it doesnt... the polishing oils in it could act as fillers... but if used right it will remove some paint also. (which would remove or improve defects if possible)

Well, my dealer in Brazil said that Scratch X 2.0 will make up the swirls and scratches on my car. I'm just applied it and the first glaze was excelent, removing almost cobweb, swirls and fine scratches. Let's see if come back...
