No, its not user error. I mixed them both up at 1 oz per gallon, and I have used them all through a foam gun and via the two bucket method with both lambswool and MF muppet style mits. I stand by my review.

I find that with the correct dilution ratio, particularly via the traditional hose-and-bucket method, you can't beat either product. Both clean the surface very well, and always leave a great post-wash slickness to the finish.

You might want to re-evaluate how you're using them, as chances are that you could be missing something important (dilution ratio, application process, etc).

How much solution did you use?

    NXT Car Wash - meh.

I decided to try this stuff again because the last time I used it was almost 3 years ago.
I give it 6 out of 10, really not bad for an OTC product aimed at the average Joe.
IMO Gold Class has this stuff beat in nearly every category: suds, lubricity, shine, etc
The two redeeming qualities of the NXT wash are the smell and the cleaning power.
I have to add, lastly, I personal feel that Optimum Car Wash blows both of these products out of the water, Its a more expensive and not OTC but I'll be ordering a gallon next time I need soap.

(All products used via foam gun)
