  • Just started using Natural Shine

I have used Natural Shine in the past but just recently I have been using it on almolst every single one of my details. A little goes a long ways and I can get it at Walmart for 4 dollars a bottle.

Plus it has a great smell, its easy to apply, leaves the surface freshly cleaned and conditioned and is not greasy. Right now I have four bottles of it in my collection so I should be set for a while.

It's a great product for when you don't want any sort of gloss to your dash!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

I find at times its hard to find a dash product that doesn't leave gloss, its good to know I can go to Wally World and get some of this, thanks TUck!!

How does this compare to Quik Interior Detailer?

yea, its gives a great scent and a low gloss... been curious of how far the difference is with the supreme shine protectant...
btw, does it have any cleaning ability like the QID?

Re: Just started using Natural Shine

I've got both Natural Shine and Supreme Shine and the difference in gloss level is night and day. They are both aptly named... Natural Shine gives you a very flat finish and Supreme Shine is very glossy. The Natural Shine bottle says it cleans, but the Supreme Shine doesn't say anything about cleaning. I personally don't apply the dressings to a dirty interior myself. I'd rather put them down on a clean surface.

I usually Pre-Clean the surface with APC 4:1 before any interior protectant is applied.

My more-well-off (richer) clients prefer the Natural Shine on their dash to anything else. They consider any type of dash gloss as cheap looking.
In fact, when one of them tells me not to dress their dash at all, I open my car door, point to my dash and inner door panels, dressed with Natural Shine, and ask them "How's this dressing look?" They all then say," OK, that looks good. Use that."

Yeah, Natural Shine and M40 are pretty good for that.
I also like the look of Natural Shine on black interior, such as here on my truck:

I dunno.. I would say my dash looked like the above after using the Supreme Shine... But mine is a funky material with lots of texture.
