Gold Class Rich Leather Aloe Cleaner

As I mentioned, I used this during the detail of my SIL's Buick. The leather seats in her car were pretty bad, I didn't realise just how bad they were until I cleaned them.

I found that the GCRLAC seems to use an emulsifying process, dissolving the dirt embedded in the leather. The cleaners are so strong in fact that when I spilled a few drops on an uncleaned area, by the time I wiped them up, they had made a clean spot on the leather.

I tried using the terry cloth method, but I found that it didn't put down enough product to eat through the years of built up crud. I ended up using a medium bristled brush to apply the cleaner to the leather, then I let it sit as I began another area. Then I took a scrubber pad with more cleaner applied and went back over the area focusing on the creases and textured areas.

When I was finished scrubbing, I took a terry towel and wiped the area down. I only had to go to this extreme on the actual seating surface where there was a lot of texture/creases. The areas of smooth leather were far easier.

Hi! Great work! You did a huge improvement! I tried doing this with a terry towel and as you said, it didn't improve that much and you can still see some dirt on the leather's stress lines.. Do you mind if you could send me a picture or a link to the medium bristled brush and the scrubber pad that you used? I would really appreciate it! TIA!

I have a brush that is sold to be used with paint/varnish stripper on wood, I got it at Home Depot it has red bristles and a white plastic handle. It's only about 3" long over all. The scrubber pad I used is actually a piece cut off a big floor scrubber disc (intended for a machine), but one of those combination kitchen sponge/scrubbers would work as well (just DON'T go crazy and start scrubbing hard, let the cleaner do most of the work). I just took some pics of the brush I used. This was mainly used to spread the cleaner around and get it into the cracks & texture.

Those are absolutely amazing results! I need to clean my leather soon, maybe I'll give this product a shot. Did you condition the seats after?

Yes, I used Gold Class Rich Leather Aloe Cleaner & Conditioner. It probably would have been better to use the Rich Leather Conditioner. bit since I already had the 2 in 1....
