Maybe theirs is more concentrated... Maybe Meguiars is being overly safe... but it works.

Thank you for your observation on the product sir.

I don't know if it is just me, but 1oz per gallon seems like alot of soap..but thats just me. I guess it is becuase I have been using Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss and it only calls for .5oz per 2 gallons

Well, you could at least use the ADS sampler I guess for some of them.

I wished that Meguiars would assemble a shampoo sampler of all of their car wash products for the public to try.

    That would be neat!

    Excellent Writeup Nick.

I will have to give this a try now. I used NXT for a year, Liked it, Then Switched to GC, Love it.

    Nice write-up Tuck!

Still not sure what to do after reading about Shampoo Plus and #62, lol.

SP is the cheaper of the two, as #62 runs about $28.00!

    What is the scent like?

I switched from NXT to GC because I couldn't handle the lime scent. I guess thats why there's so many shampoos in the line-up - keeps everyone happy.

62 cleans as well as NXT, leaves a gloss like GC (but does a wash NEED to leave gloss???)and rinses extremely well even if it dries on the paint. Good stuff.

Then I tried Nxt Wash, and this was also when I first tried Nxt 1.0 Wax. Seemed to stop getting dirt (maybe more familiar with the curves?), but the finish didn't seem to look as nice. Of course Nxt 1.0 Wax seemed to pick up a reputation for not holding up a shine, and I switched to #21 1.0 soon after. So hard to say what was what.

Of course by that time, I was onto Shampoo Plus and my foam gun. It seemed to work ok, but didn't seem to clean like Nxt, or leave the shine of Gold Class, even with the #21.

So, Tim was saying a lot of good things about #62, so why not try it. Now, it seems like it leaves a nice shine, and I only get dirt on my towels if I blatantly miss a spot.

    Make sense?
Ya, i get ya. i know what you mean about knowing the ins and outs of the car too
When it comes to washing my truck I am on the perfectionist side as well.

Sorry for making you type that much, lol.

a few jugs is a lot of car washes, you must like it then. Any reason you prefer it over Gold Class or Shampoo Plus?

My local PBE store has it and I was thinking about picking it up.
