  • Yet another UQW review! (No pics, sorry!)

Being that the sun has gone down for evening, I couldn't snap any good pictures this late, but I had to post this!

I was at Target today and they finally got in one new 2009 product, UQW. I washed and waxed with NXT 2.0 yesterday, so today was a great day to try this product. I bought it, wiped the car off with UQD and applied the UQW.

I tried to use Mike Phillips' method of letting it flash dry, but probably due to the warm, dry climate I'm in, the product reacted more like UQD than something that stays on the surface. So as per directions on the bottle, I damped the microfiber cloth with product, and use UQW like a quick detailer. As other users pictures can attest, this product is stellar.

There is one thing that surprised me about this product. The way it handles plastic trim is amazing! It looks like I dressed my trim with something like Gold Class Trim Detailer. I actually used to use Turtle Wax Ice for the trim (never use it on the paint! :P), but the whole car just looks wet! I think it's an amazing product that'll definitely keep my finish well protected in this hot Texas weather. Anybody else who's still thinking about this product after all the rave reviews, go out and buy it already!

Do you mean the TW Ice liquid wax? If that's the case, I may finally have a use for the three bottles taking up shelf space in my home!

Yeah! The supposed wax/polish for paint, but I've found it works really well on plastic trim! Just apply it like normal, let it haze(?), I mean dry and buff it off.

But I think UQW does a better job at it IMO and it's easier to apply and remove.
