  • NXT Spray wax! WOW!

I'll be the first to say I'd never been a fan of spray waxes. I really just thought it was kind of a cheap "get you by" to make the car shinier for a customer pick up.

Then I tried some on my wife's 2008 50th anniversary impala. It's Black Granite, which is essentially black with a LOT of metal flake. The finish was already in good condition, I had to use some #80 on the hood when we first got the car to take care of some dealer installed issues (LOL).

So, a wash, dry, and coat of NXT spray later, and I am converted.

Only caveat, really, is do what the instructions say! Let the paint cool, and keep it out of the sun! I had the garage door open when I did the hood (sun shined down on it) and it make the wax more difficult to remove.

But other than that...this stuff is the bee's knees!

NXT spray wax is a great product. Was the sun shining directly onto your hood and how much wax did you put on the vehicle?
