I love the stuff. It is alittle pungent at first, but it wears down some and has a good smell.

For a general old car smell, I would try and aim for the different fabric areas at least.

Maybe one good spray in each footwell, one on each seating spot if fabric, maybe trunk as well.

It will smell a bit strong at first from that may sprays, but as mentioned it wears off well.

        Re: Megs 'Car Odor Eliminator'

I used this the other day in a 35 year old car and I was very impressed.

I thought it smelt great from the start and then faded to a light scent, leaving a clean smell in the car. I prefer that it faded quickly because I don't like having a strong scent in cars.

I sprayed it a dozen times through the car and that was enough to get rid of 60% of the "old car smell". Now I'm keen to see how it goes if I make a good effort to get it into every crevice. If I can bump up the odor removal to 90% I'll be very happy.

It'll have to wait - this car only comes into my hands once in a while, at which point it gets a good wash and a solid application of DC Cleaner Wax.

I bought a few bottles of it at a K-Mart in Florida in November. It was on clearance at $1.00 a bottle.
I used it in a suitcase that had a musty smell that would infect any clothes in it with the smell. I sprayed, let it dry, repeated twice. Worked great.

I had a "friend" call me about a co-worker, well, "depositing" some already partially digested food in her car. I expected the worst.

I ended up steam cleaning the interior, doing an APC+ wipe-down, followed by the professional #23 (I believe) Odor Eliminator.

I called her the other day, and it has been a month, and she said the odor is 100% gone. Usually that type of odor likes t hang around, but this stuff did the trick!
