Even-Coat Applicator -- WOW!

I bought a two-pack of these on a whim . . . I've been happy when hand applying waxes to use a high-tech (foam) applicator or a 100% cotten cloth for spray wax.

Well, I just finished applying Spray Wax using one of these even-coat applicators, and all I can say is -- BUY ONE OF THESE! They truly are remarkable. I do a pretty good job with spray waxes, but the even-coat applicators are true to their name -- I was able to get the evenest coat I ever have with them. After buffing off the wax, I also got the best shine ever from the spray wax product. I am impressed!

Now, a question -- has anyone used the even-coat applicator with paste wax? I'm curious how the results are versus a standard high-tech (foam) applicator pad . . . .

I also like the Even Coat Applicators, they work very well and IMO the key to getting a nice even coat of spray wax. I have only used them to apply a spray wax, not sure how they would work with a paste wax!?!?

Yes they are very good with very liquid waxes, like spraywaxes. With anything thicker than that ( for pastes and not so liquid waxes) I prefer the foam applicators

These applicators are fantastic to use, I used some last night with Cleaner Wax and they beat foam applicators hands down. They were comfortale to work with, and made applying a thin, even coat easy... as in almost effortless.

However, I tossed them into the wash on the gentle cycle, with my mitts and terry towels, and they both split on me.

Fantastic to use, but unwashable? As careful as I try to be, my applicators end up on the ground sometimes... I need a product I can wash. I paid $3.99 per two-pack and while it's not that much money, its just too much for a single use applicator.

I just finished filling out the form for Customer Care. Maybe I got bad ones, I don't know. In any case, I would swear by these applicators, if only they would last more than one use.

They're great for dressing as well. ASD smoothed out with an Even-Coat applicator is too easy.

i never used them for interior. usually just use an MF. but now i'm goign to try that this week or next week.

heading to US so PepBoys you better stock up.
